“Taste of the Port”, March 29, NB Whaling Museum, 6 to 9 pm: An upscale cocktail party featuring signature seafood dishes by the area’s top chefs co-hosted by the NB Port Society, WHALE, and the Working Waterfront Festival to benefit the Port Society Complex renovation project. stonehouse“Summer Solstice Soiree”, June 21st, Stone House at the Head of Westport: Held along the banks of the Westport River, the Soiree will take place on the grounds of the Greek Revival Stone House built in 1793 by Captain Stephen Howland. The landmark house was recently renovated by owners Michael Walden and Steven Fletcher, and architect Kit Wise of Wise, Surma, Jones. Featuring gourmet foods from local sources, open bar, dancing and more.
