WHALE obtained this historic 2 family 1830s Greek Revival through the Attorney General’s/City of New Bedford Receivership Program.  WHALE has restored this important South-end home for sale to a low-moderate income First-Time Homebuyer as a two-family. This property has two, four-bedroom units and will be sold to a homebuyer with an income at or below 80% of the area median income. The homeowner will be able to live in the property and rent out the other unit. Architect, Kathryn Duff from studio2sustain and General Contractor, A Plus Construction did a beautiful job restoring this historic home.  The project is partially  funded by the City of New Bedford, The City of Fall River AHI funding, and the 1772 Foundation.  WHALE is very excited to announce that the first-time homebuyer lottery process for 318 Pleasant Street begins Friday, June 28th and ends Tuesday, July 30th. There will be two open houses held Friday, June 29th from 4:00-6:00 pm and Saturday, June 29th from 11:00-1:00 pm with Diana Henry Realty. If you’re a first-time homebuyer and interested in buying this house, please email Teresa Willander at twillander@waterfrontleague.org
