September 11, 2013

WHALE’s Wine Festival is about more than just great wines. We also feature signature dishes of some of Greater New Bedford’s finest restaurants and caterers. At this point,  we have 18 of our expected 20  to serve delectibles  to accompany your tastings of wines and beers from around the world. The presenters are listed below.

This year’s International Wine Festival and Auction is scheduled for Friday, October 4th, 5:30 – 9:00 at the DCR’s State Pier Building. The Wine Festival is WHALE’s largest annual event, attracting hundreds of foodies, wine and beer enthusiasts, and supporters of historic preservation. Guests will enjoy an evening of sampling dozens of fine wines and select beers from around the world paired with signature dishes from the area’s top restaurants and caterers.

Tickets are available in advance for $65. Tickets can be purchased from WHALE by calling 508-997-1776, directly from any WHALE Board Member, online at www.waterfrontleague.org, and at Crush Fine Wine Boutique, 801 Purchase Street in New Bedford.
