We are happy to announce our next Wine Festival is at last year’s venue! Now known as one of the largest wine festivals in SouthCoast, our signature fundraiser is Friday, September 15 from 5:30-9:00pm at the Allen C. Haskell Public Gardens.

The festival will offer world-class wine, beer and food with specialties from the region’s finest restaurants and caterers. We host around twenty vendors and offer over 100 wines to try, including a beer selection. This year, tastings are presented by Lees Wine & Spirits. The silent auction with over 75 items will accept bids for antiques, collectibles, artwork and unique gifts.

Over the past 50 years, WHALE has facilitated the completion of more than 50 restoration and preservation projects. Proceeds will benefit their mission to save New Bedford’s history and architectural heritage. Tickets are $85 in advance and at the door. For more information or if you prefer to purchase by phone, call (508) 997-1776 or visit waterfrontleague.org.

Participating restaurants include:  Black Whale, The Baker, Brazilian Grille, Destination Soups, Dorothy Cox Candies, Fathoms Bar & Grille, Fay’s Restaurant, Freestones City Grill, Lees Market, Moby Dick Brewery, Morton’s Fork Catering, No Problemo Taqueria, Not Your Average Joe’s, Pink Box Desserts, Wicked Kickin’ Savory Cheesecake
