This two-family home was slated for demolition, but was saved by WHALE through New Bedford’s Receivership Program in partnership with the Attorney General’s office. WHALE’s restoration of 305-307 Pleasant Street is the second project in this South Central neighborhood. We hope you enjoy!

1060 Pleasant Street (VTH) Tour

WHALE and the Veterans Transition House (VTH) in New Bedford have partnered to restore and transform the historic 1060 Pleasant Street into Veterans Transitional Housing. Currently the building will be used as a quarantine zone for Veterans who have tested positive for COVID-19.
