March 8, 2012 – 6:00 PM – “Women of WHALE” presentation during the themed AHA night, “Hear Me Roar”, to be held in the Corson Building Theater, 33 William Street, New Bedford. Co-sponsored by WHALE and the New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park. Free
March 9, 2012 - 6:30 to 10:00PM – A Celtic ”Hooley” with Aoife Clancy & Friends. Join WHALE for a fabulous night of Celtic Music, Dancing, Food and Fun to be held at the Jacobs Family Gallery, New Bedford Whaling Museum, 18 Johnny Cake Hill, New Bedford. Ticket includes soups, sandwiches, desserts & coffee. Cash bar. Tickets are $30 WHALE members; $40 Nonmembers.
May 10, 2012 – 6:00 PM – WHALE presents an Architectural Preservation Trolley Tour Leaves from National Park Visitor Center, 33 William Street, New Bedford during AHA night beginning at the National Park Visitors Center, 33 William St., New Bedford. Join us for a fun ride around historic New Bedford to see magnificent architecture and amazing preservation projects. Approximately one hour tour. Co-sponsored by WHALE and the New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park. Seating is limited, first come first served. Free.

June 14, 2012 – 6:00 PM – Walking Tour of New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park & Downtown during AHA night. Begins at the National Park Visitors Center, 33 William Street, New Bedford. Join us for a walk through cobblestone streets to learn more about the establishment of WHALE, our preservation efforts and more than 27 distinct projects and initiatives that WHALE has been involved in and spearheaded in the heart of our great city. Co-sponsored by WHALE and the New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park. Free.
July 12, 2012 – 5:00 to 7:00 PM – Build a Historic House during “Kid’s Rule” AHA night on the 2nd floor of the Corson Building, 33 William Street, New Bedford. This is a fun, hands-on learning activity for children of all ages. Children get to choose and put together a particular architectural style seen in New Bedford. Co-sponsored by WHALE and the New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park. Free.

Featuring more than 150 fine wines, champagnes, ports, and beers from around the world, WHALE’s International Wine Festival and Auction is the largest wine tasting south of Boston. Entering its 22nd year, the Wine Festival has a long-standing tradition of excellence and excitement. Whether you are a wine connoisseur or a wine novice, you will surely find something that is pleasing, even for the most discriminating of palates. In addition to the wines and other libations, samples of the signature dishes of the area’s finest restaurants will be served. And to top it off, there is a silent auction that contains items for anyone’s desires.
